Aircraft Seat 3D Interaction Improvements
Making an intricate product easier to explore through clear, responsive 3D interaction.
An attractive 3D model is only the beginning of a product experience. The real test is whether someone can understand its structure. Does selecting a part produce a clear response? Can the internal arrangement be explained through an exploded view? Do the menu and the object behave like parts of one interface?
Aircraft seating combines multiple layers and components, making it a compelling subject for interactive visualization. This Babylon.js project focused on refining exploded-model presentation, selected-part highlighting and the relationship between menu items and model nodes.
Those details change how the experience feels. A visitor can use the interface to focus on a particular component, see where it belongs and move between the assembled product and its underlying structure.
That matters whenever a product is difficult to explain through photography alone. Interactive 3D lets a presenter guide attention, explore individual features and communicate how a physical object is put together.
The interaction improvements passed client acceptance. More importantly, the work demonstrates how thoughtful behavior can turn a model viewer into a purposeful product-presentation tool.
The same ideas apply to industrial equipment, configurable furniture and technical product catalogs where exploration is part of the purchasing or presentation experience.
