QSYS Foundry — AI Engineering Workflow Platform
Treating AI-assisted software development as a controlled engineering process, not an endless chat session.
AI can produce code quickly. The harder question appears when a project lasts for days, spans several stages and has real consequences for an existing codebase. Was the requirement understood? Did the changes stay within scope? Can work resume after an interruption? What evidence makes the result acceptable?
QSYS Foundry is an engineering system designed around those questions. Work is organized into stages and tasks with defined goals, boundaries and outputs. Execution state, authorizations and validation are explicit parts of the process rather than details left to the model's conversational memory.
Long-running work needs continuity. Tasks depend on earlier decisions, processes may stop, and evidence should not disappear with a chat session. Persisted state and structured handoffs provide a way to carry the engineering context forward while keeping the execution traceable.
The system also draws a clear distinction between doing work and authorizing it. AI coding agents can execute assigned development and checks, while scope decisions, sensitive approvals and acceptance remain governed by an explicit human decision process.
The commercial relevance lies in predictability. For ongoing software development, one successful code-generation step is much less important than understanding what changed, why it changed, and whether the project remains on course.
QSYS Foundry explores how AI-assisted coding can fit into that larger discipline, with contracts, evidence and human oversight forming the structure around automated execution.
